Get ready for Chasing Bessie: Lake Erie’s Kids Adventure Race! Young adventurers will race across the festival grounds surrounding the Port Glasgow Yacht Club & Marina, following clues from one location to the next in a fun-filled Amazing Race-style challenge. Along the way, participants will solve hints, explore the festival, and search for the elusive Lake Erie Bessie hidden somewhere on the grounds. Those who successfully track down Bessie will earn a special prize!
The adventure begins at the Creative Corner and runs during Vendor Market hours on Saturday and Sunday from 10AM–4PM. This interactive activity also helps build excitement for the library’s upcoming special event the following week celebrating the mystery and legend of Lake Erie Bessie. Fun for kids of all ages and a great way to explore the festival!
