We’re excited to share that the Roots & Revival Festival will once again feature a brand-new mural installation for the 2026 season!
This year’s piece will be created by local artist Christine Johnson, bringing her signature style and fresh creativity to our waterfront. Made possible through the generous support of the Anita May Music & Mental Health Fund and the Elgin St. Thomas Community Fund, this installation will add even more colour and energy to the festival grounds.
Designed as a welcoming piece at the entrance to the beach and marina, the mural offers a striking first glimpse of the shoreline and its deep-rooted connection to the landscape that has shaped it over time.
Make sure to stop by during the festival to see it on display while you explore everything happening along the shoreline. From our art gallery featuring Christine’s work and other local artists, to live music, a lively vendor market, great food, and family-friendly activities—there’s something for everyone, and it’s all free to attend.
